HOW IT WORKS

Get in touch

Tell me a bit about what you’re planning, your timeline, and what the content needs to do.

We can talk things through together, and I can come back with a clear and considered proposal.

I’ll usually want to understand who the content is for, where it will be used, and what success looks like, so we can shape the shoot in the right way from the start and make sure the content performs well.

Get a quote

Once I understand what you need, I’ll put together a clear quote and outline how the project will work.

I’ll also suggest a way to structure the shoot so you come away with more than just a single film, with additional content that can be used across your platforms after filming. From there, you can decide what feels most useful to include.

Everything is kept straightforward and easy to follow, with a 50% deposit to secure the booking and the balance on completion.

Filming Schedule

Before filming, we’ll go through the key details together and create a shot list and filming schedule.

This will include locations, contributors, interview direction, and the supporting footage needed to bring everything together (often referred to as B-roll).

We’ll also shape the questions and talking points in advance, so interviews feel focused and natural on the day.

This preparation helps the day run smoothly and ensures we capture everything needed to shape strong outputs.

Filming

On the day, I’ll typically arrive 1–2 hours before filming begins to get set up and talk through the plan for the day.

This also gives us time to familiarise anyone being interviewed with the questions and help them feel at ease, so they come across naturally and confidently on camera.

I’m happy to lead interviews and guide contributors, or work around your preferred approach.

I then focus on capturing the additional footage needed to support the story and give the edit depth.

Editing

I’ll get to work on the edit and share a first draft within the agreed timeframe.

You can review it, gather feedback, and send over any changes.

From there, I refine the edit and prepare the different versions needed - from shorter cutdowns to social formats in landscape and portrait, with subtitles, so the content works across your platforms.

Delivery

Once you’re happy with the final films, you’ll receive Vimeo links that can be easily shared, embedded, or used to download the files.

The project is then closed, and the remaining balance is invoiced.

Footage is securely stored for up to one year. If you’d like a copy or prefer for it to be held longer, this can be arranged for an agreed fee.

Any edits beyond the final delivery can be accommodated at an hourly rate.
